Pastor's Notes Dear Friends of the Ministry, We write today asking you to help us to never say quit in closing the doors on CrossroadsWCCC in doing the work and will of God. As the month of August closes, we are sitting at $1,500.00 dollars
in the red that we urgently need to clear up going into September. We move forward on faith, but we truly need your help to be able to continue touching lives for God.
The Bible says whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap, some thirty, some sixty and some one-hundred fold. No amount is too
small to be helpful, and together, we have faith that God will help work this out. He shows us daily that through His work and in faith, we are able
to bring the love of God to so many hurting souls who may otherwise never know Him. The amount mentioned includes facility rental expense, electric, gas, water, transportation for programs,
Internet access for the children's computer lab, and office supplies. We are operating on a shoestring budget, and we are asking for your help in any way. Please donate online, or mail a donation
to the address below. In difficult economic times like this, not only are we having a hard time, but more importantly, we see a
markedly increased need in our community
that CrossroadsWCCC be here to minister to and assist 'the least of these' through these times and lead them to the Lord. To clear this back debt, quite possibly crucial to our continuing the Lord's work, it would only take...
10 people giving $150 20 people giving $75 25 people giving $60 ...and so on. For Pastors or Churches who might be able to hold a revival or church service here to
raise funds to help us, we would be grateful. Please call the church office
to make those arrangements. We are calling on all our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ to help in any way possible, no amount is to small.
May God Richly Bless You and Yours Always, Pastor Cory P. Pariseau An Inspiring Contact We received the following contact online this week and
found it so uplifting and true that I wanted to share it with you. We all have times of hardship, but it's crucial to remember to...
Stay on the alert. The enemy is on his job and we must be on ours. The scripture says that his
job is to kill, steal and to destroy. What you may ask? # 1 He is out to kill your dreams...but you've got to know that you must stay focused. I believe it
was the prophet Jeremiah that said that the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end it shall speak and not lie. #2 He comes to steal. What
you may ask? Your joy. If he can get your joy he can get the upper hand and possibly take you out. You've got to realize that the joy of the Lord is your
strength. #3 He comes to destroy. Your family, relationships, finances, etc. You've got to be on the offense to come against that as well. If you've got
the faith God's got the power. Jesus told (Peter I believe it was) that the enemy desires to have you and sift you as wheat. He went on to tell him but I
have prayed for you that your faith fail you not. Know this, the scripture says that the trying of your faith worketh
patience. It goes on to say but let patience have its perfect work that ye may be perfect and entire wanting nothing.
He has given us the authority to address the situations of our lives. He has given us keys to lock and unlock our
situations. The bible says that whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Also what ever we loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven. We have this assurance that death and life are in the power of the tongue. You are what you speak, therefore speak life.
Lastly make sure that you are properly armed and dressed for Battle. We are instructed in the scriptures to be
strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. You have to know who you are fighting against. Ephesians
12:12 says, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Make sure that you are properly dressed for the fight. Ephesians 12:1: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye
may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. vs 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your
loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the
preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of
God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
I close with this, we were instructed in the scriptures to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
