Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a blessed holiday and that you are moving into the season with joy and peace in your hearts! It has been a while since I have written a newsletter, and man, am I
excited to come to you with what God has placed in my heart.
Crossroads'
mission has always been about helping people who are at a Crossroads in their lives, no
matter where they're from in the world. We are here to help in spreading The Great Commission - in going into all the world and spreading the Good News of our Lord and Savior. We have done that, and with your help we
continue to do so every day in ways that truly amaze us! You have helped us touch the lives of so many people both in the U.S. and from all over the world. Thank you! There are changes underway here. Rick Warren said it best in the book The Purpose Driven Church. I will
paraphrase it for you: To ride the waves, you are going to have good waves and then you are going to have bad
ones. Some things we tried here at Crossroads worked and blessed a lot of people. Some things we tried we have
lost a lot on and they temporarily put us in a bad way. It's time to re-group after a period of time we've taken to evaluate how everything's
working. It would be easy to just shut down and call it quits - and that is what we are doing on those parts that are not working out. Crossroads
World Christian Center Church will be shutting down in name only soon, so that God can do a new thing - a start of something new! Again, this is
only in name - a symbolic gesture to re-energize us in moving forward to the changes we are making to grow our organization and to continue
doing God's amazing work in people's lives and spirits. Praise the Lord!  Soon, we will welcome you to CROSSROADS WORLD OUTREACH Christian Center and to the
CROSSROADS WORLD FAMILY Worship Center - same great outreaches, but with even more ways to
touch people lives. We are excited about what God is doing here! CROSSROADS WORLD OUTREACH Christian
Center will be the new name of the church, and the CROSSROADS WORLD FAMILY Worship Center will be the
place we worship. We will keep the Crossroads Community Services Center, which is currently located on the east
side of Columbus, as well there are to be new, additional locations to follow for that ministry, so that we can
expand our outreach in Columbus neighborhoods. Right now we are in talks about a building for the family
worship center and we need your prayers and support to get this done. Please consider becoming a partner with us for 3 months at $25 or more - but if you cannot commit to that - no amount is to small - everything helps us
move forward
and is appreciated. Please remember us in your holiday giving.
Crossroads Community Services is working hard to make a impact on our communities with expanded
services to help those in need. We are excited to be host sites to The Ohio Benefit bank, and Smart Choice Food
Source, Gaballi and One Harvest, as well as the Community Assistance Program, and NeedNexus. Check out the Community Services
page for a look at all the new programs! Crossroads Community Services is looking to add sites to the North side and West side of Columbus to serve our community better. Please stay tuned for more info as well how you can help.
Crossroads Community Services is also starting a new network called Our Community Services for the network of small churches.
This would allow small churches to be a part of our network and have part of there own community service center through C.C.S. Our Community
Services will represent their church as their community service center for their congregation. This is great for churches that do not have the room
or budget for community services, but want to do community outreach. Please contact
