News September is here again and God is starting
something New here at Crossroads World Christian Center Church here in Columbus, Ohio. In Isaiah 43:19 its says, "I will do a new thing." The spirit of the Lord has been moving mightily in each and every
service! We invite you to come out and express the fresh anointing that permeates each and every service.We want to congratulate some friends of the ministry who've been blessed by the addition
of newcomers to their families. We wish the Lord's continued covering on these beautiful families! 
Mr. and Mrs. Matt Miller of Texas,
(Matt is one the board members of CrossroadsWCCC)
were blessed with a little baby girl, who they named Marykate.
Mr. And Mrs. Brian Sherman of North Carolina were blessed with a 6lb. 20oz. little boy. We all so want to congratulate Mr. Steve and Amy Hary. They just got married not to long ago. We here at
CrossroadsWCCC want to send our prayers and God's blessings out to you all.
We are raising funds for our Phaze 2 building, as well as to help the many out reach ministries we have working in our
community. We need your help and commitment to helping the inner city of Columbus Ohio in order to strengthen and
help the kids, youth and families of Central Ohio. Will you please help us take it to the streets?Please be praying for our Parenting Pathways outreach Ministry, as we are going to new heights in touching the lives
of families. We are networking with several different organizations. We will be going to a conference on September 28, 2007 from 9 to 12pm
at the Buckeye Ranch downtown location, along with Square One. We go into depth on how foster parents and primary parents should work together for the betterment of the children.Also, in
October 2007 we will be heading down to Cincinnati, Ohio with the Square One team to help them to find a better solution in working a program like our
Parenting Pathways program. If you have the time to do so, we'd love for you
to join us at these great events!September 30, 2007 at 7:30pm Bishop Tatum and his Church will be here at CrossroadsWCCC to help bring us into our
new season. Come hear this blessed man of God as he brings an on time message to those who are at a crossroads.
Associate Pastor Maurice Johnson and Evangelist April will begin leading Sunday morning services here at
Crossroads World Christian Center Church soon. Please stay tuned, as service times will be announced in the next month or so.
The first weekend of October we are having an end of summer tailgate party. ALL are welcome to this outreach event!
We'll have food, fun, games and great music. The exact date will be announced soon, so please check back here at the site's events page for that. The 3rd
weekend in October we are going to have our Church Family Yard Sale if you have any items to donate please let us know and we will come and pick them up.

Crossroads World Christian Center Church A Word from the Pastor
The Word from the Pastor comes to you today from a Friend of the Ministry, Prophetess Brown out of New Orleans.
Prophetess brown has been a great encouragement of this ministry since the beginning. Enjoy this word from a great woman of God about one of the plights that plagues the inner city… Before I get into statistics let me just share the revelation God gave me about rap music. God is love and he always act
on it. I'm from the old school and I have witnessed the drama of racism in its finest hour. I was birth out in the sixties,
when God had ordained people like Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and Malcolm X. Yes Mr. X because it don't matter
how you start out, it's how you finish. I believe he found out at the end of his journey that old blue eye's wasn't our enemy
it is the devil. And by any means necessary by the pulling down of strong holds through prayer to Jesus Christ. The only
one who every knee must bow and every mouth must confess that He is Lord and the gates of hell will not prevail against
us "the church." Yes, God used the people to make the crooked places straight and the rough areas smooth to make the
wrongs right. And before He called them He called the forerunners like Fredrick Douglass and Harriet Tubman, to show us what only a holy God can do when all odds are against you.
And here the most High God goes again, after monitoring the hearts of evil men, declaring like Pharaoh "he will not let
our people go." I'm going to create such confusion in the school systems with limited school supplies, then if and when
they graduate we won't hire them, were going to drop millions of dollars of drugs in their hoods, let's hire their women,
making them the head of their house holds, let's bring such confusion into their lives and make them shoot up each other. Our success will for succeed the Ku Klux Klan.
OooooH, BUT GOD! God says I'm going to raise a standard; HA LA LU!!!
ELSHEDI, Said I'm going to rise up a standard for my people. Even if they can't sing all they have to do is talk and I will
make them millionaires Billionaires, I'm going to give them so much favor until they can buy the bank if they wanted too.
So God has blessed our children with favor but know body is pointing them to the giver of all blessings, And WE, YES
WE, have allowed Satan to pervert their gift because WE HAVE NOT opened our mouths! We (the Church) have not
pointed them to the way to the cross and telling them that Jesus is the source of which all blessing flow. Right now we
have a remnant of youngsters who have answered the call of God to rap for Jesus, Rap for the Kingdom of God. Please do whatever needs to be done to support our babies to bring glory and honor to the Lord.
Please meditate on these words and ask the Holy Spirit what would He have YOU to do, to RIGHT this WRONG.
AND THE STATISTICS ARE:
During the past 15 years, which also correlates with the massive widespread distribution of rap crap filth, nearly every single statistic within the Black race has reached epidemic proportions:
~50 percent high school drop-out rate for Black students (nationwide average)
~Double the number of incarcerated Black men
~Highest decline of Black students in college in the past 50 years
~Highest number of single parents, especially single Black mothers
~Sharp increase in Black female incarceration rates (highest in history)
~Increase of Blacks living in poverty (nationwide 25 percent)
~Increased unemployment of young Black males
~Health of Blacks poorest in every single major illness, except for skin cancer (thanks melanin)
~Highest number of Black children in foster care (orphanages)
~Highest number of Black children, especially boys, in special education classes
~Hip Hop artists have the highest incarceration rates of any musical genre's artists list
~In the first quarter of 2007, hip-hop sales are down 33.6 percent from same quarter of last year
~Hip-hop sales are down 21 percent from 2005 to 2006
~In 2006, only two hip-hop artists attained platinum status (T.I. & Jay Z)
~This week (4-17-07), due to the massive media exposure of the Don Imus racist remarks, every single album released
before last week (despite the genre), has declined in sales among the top 50 selling albums (hitsdailydouble.com). Average drop of nearly 50 percent
~Despite massive declines in CD sales, radio spins of negative hip-hop (rap crap) remained in high rotation (allaccess.com)
~The ONLY music genre to gain for the first quarter of 2007 is R&B, which is non-inclusive of hip-hop and that is only 1 percent.
~According to David Lopez of Nielsen Soundscan, they have never ever monitored or taken statistics on the race or
ethnicity of any consumer who purchased music. So where the heck does that lie that told many Americans, that 80
percent of hip hop is purchased by White consumers come from? That made-up figure has been a lie told over and over
again to make Blacks feel like they were not targeted for mental destruction, in which there is absolutely no proof to the contrary.
Furthermore, as I watched Oprah Winfrey this week, I'm found myself very disappointed watching some desperate
millionaire fall guys speak about NOT blaming filth-spewing rap crap artists for the NEWLY arrived heights of devastation
among Black American Citizens. Oprah's in studio on stage guests, who have gained from our pain was Russell Simmons,
Bernard Chivers, Kevin Liles, and Common (who is among the few positive artists), who made excuse after excuse for the
vast widespread devastation of the Black community. I'm asking all those who watched Oprah not to get confused with
their mind-twisting fast-talking bullying tactics that was force-feeding everyone to look everywhere else but inside
themselves to make that change; they are their own man in the mirror, who hold the power to rid our lives of the mental
trash that cleverly deceived us with beats that were given to us as gifts from our ancestors to be used for loving and healing purposes.
I must disagree with a popular notion that negative lyrics sell. No, the consumer bought the beat and the groove and was
tricked into condoning and repeating lyrics that commonly used the rhythms of nursery rhymes to convince us that being
horrible human beings would render us massive rewards. The glamorizing of despicable language such as nig?!a, b$#ch and ho could have only involved the work of the devil who is THE master of deception.
What is missing are all the non-Black record company owners and executives that hated Black people while smiling in
their faces telling them that they will pay them riches for putting down Black people and lying to Black people telling them over and over and over again what is wrong is right. |
