Praise the Lord everybody! It is so good to be back writing to you! So many things have been happing here at Crossroads World Christian
Center, some good, some not so good…but through it all I glorify His name for where He is taking us. It says in His word that everybody that has breath should praise the Lord,
and that is what I am doing. Though things don't go well at times, I will praise Him. Though people may despitefully use me and the church at times, I will praise Him with every breath
that is in my body. I will praise Him because of what he has done for me on Calvary. We ask for continued prayer for this church as we continue to step out on
faith in new areas of ministry as well as carrying on the areas the Lord's blessed us to maintain to this point. Prayer is so powerful, and we need yours, always.
We are growing in many ways including membership, so I want to thank and welcome all the new members of CrossroadsWCCC, as well as all the visitors that have come through over the
last couple of months. We pray that your visit with us was a great God experience, and that we see you again soon.
For all the members who've been in the hospital, please know that we have you in prayer. If you need a pastor or lay person to come visit, please call the church and we'll schedule a time to do so.For all the prayer requests that have come in over the internet and by mail and phone, we
got your requests and we've been praying for you! Know that we'll be keeping you in prayer and that the Lord is faithful to reward your conitnuing positive actions.
A Word from the Pastor One Body
It has been my passion from the beginning to unite the body of Christ, understanding that if we stand for
Christ, we should stand together no matter what politics you are in, what color, or race you are, or the way
you administrate your church or ministry. We are all different; that is the beauty of it all. Listen to what Paul has to say about this… 1Corinthians 12:4 - 18 (NKJV)
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities,
but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one
is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another
gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another
different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one
individually as He wills. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or
free--and have all been made to drink into one Spirit.
For in fact the body is not one member but many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I
am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body?
If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them
, in the body just as He pleased. May God Richly Bless You and Yours Always, Pastor Cory P. Pariseau
