News Happy New Year everyone and welcome to 2006!
With the grace and love of God we made it to another year. God has great plans in 2006 for Crossroads World Christian Center Church. We are living in the end times and we are building upon a firm foundation to bring people to the Lord in these last days.
The families of CrossroadsWCC are ready and excited to step into 2006 in spreading and sharing the word and the love of Jesus Christ to all those who are hurting and at a crossroads in their lives. We are introducing two new ministries
to Crossroads: Women

This group will be for the women of CrossroadsWCC to come together and study and fellowship and encourage one another in Christ. Men
At the
Cross
This is for the Men of CrossroadsWCC to come together in fellowship to study and encourage each other in Christ.
Times and dates for the start of these ministries will be posted, so please stay tuned! We will be kicking off
Parenting Pathways this year, the mission of which is to empower, strengthen, and lead parents who are struggling with reunification with their
children through the Child Protection Agencies and to assist all parents who are in need of support. We will be holding meetings to create the core of the group and how it should function. I am so excited about
this program! God has shown us a need for the program in this community and throughout nation.Our Building Fund
has been started and we have our first donation in the bank! In this 2006 year, we'll have some great ways you can help
raise money for the building of God's house. No donation is too small and prayer is always welcome towards the uplifting and success of this project. Please visit the Building Fund page for the tally board and updates.
We are looking for volunteers
for staff positions here at CrossroadsWCC. If you have an outpouring of love for Christ and for those who are hurting and in need of help, we can use you here at the CrossroadsWCC! Please call or e-mail us online. A Word from the Pastor STEP BACK TO SPRING FORWARD
In this New Year you have a chance. 'A chance at what?' you ask? A chance at anything you set your heart towards. That's one of the most wonderful
gifts, that God has given us another chance. You have a chance to change the things you don't like and a chance to begin anew. This is your chance to start something new in your life. Our God is a God of second chance.If you woke up in the year 2006, you have that gift of the chance to be made new! It all comes down to the choices we make to accept the chance we are given, for it says in God's Word, "Let
us CHOOSE to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good." ~Job 34:4 God has given you a CHANCE to stop doing what's hurting you, whatever it is:
smoking, drugging, drinking, if you're in a bad relationship, have no good friends, if you are at a dead end job, if you're angry, depressed, hurting, confused, or if you lost your job, wife, your man, your kids, yourself…. EVERTHING. Well if you made it to 2006 I have good news for you: this is your year of a CHANCE TO GET BACK WHAT THE ENEMY HAS STOLEN FROM YOU!
I am going to give you some steps to help you
with the chance you have been given. Just like the God given time we have been given, we can use it to learn about the steps we need to take. In the Fall we fall back and it gets darker a lot earlier and in the Spring we set the time forward.
STEP BACK…
We need to take a step back and look over our lives to see how we got where we are today. Try to understand the pit falls that might have taken you off the path that you wanted to be on. Once you see the mistakes, don't dwell on them…instead, pray to God ask for forgiveness and His guidance in your new chance at life.
SPRING FORWARD… As we spring forward in time in the Spring, all things start coming up new. Take your second chance in the New Year and spring forth with new life that is inside you! For God says in His Word,
"I call heaven and the earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and earth, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and
thy seed may live."
