News... Another Step In Faith…
With much prayer it has been put on my heart to start looking for a long term place to house the fellowship of Crossroads World Christian Center Church and World
Family Outreach Center. With this big leap of faith, we have to take a step back to able to move forward, so there will be some changes in the service times and meeting places which we will list here on the site
and send out on the Internet as they are planned. With this placed on my heart, I have been looking at a couple of properties
here in Columbus, Ohio that would fit our needs now and has we grow in the future. I go every morning and pray over these properties. This is a long term goal, and we are starting a building fund to meet this goal.
We are asking for donations
and no amount is too small. Pennies, quarters, dimes and dollars are all welcome and will be put into an interest yielding saving account until we have enough to meet our goal. Please join us in prayer for
those sprits that have gone on to be with our Heavenly Father and for the comfort of their families… Miss Whitney Riffe, who was our praise singer for the opening Service and for other services at
Crossroads World Christian Center Church, passed away as a result of a car crash this past Sunday, November 13, 2005. I can't tell you what a blessing Whitney was to this ministry. With her God given talent, she
opened the hearts and minds of our congregation with her angelic voice and unwavering faith. It surely is a praise report and of great comfort to us all at this time, that Whitney truly knew the Lord.
Even though this wasn't her home church, we will always consider it an honor and a blessing that Whitney has been an integral part of the CrossroadsWCC family and our Sister in Christ. Memorial contributions can
be made in Loving Memory of Whitney to Park National Bank
for a Vocal / Music Scholarship in her memory. An online Memorial can be located at www.NationalObituaryArchive.com
. Her spirit will be missed, but her songs will last in our hearts forever. Deacon Landis Secrest
was a cousin of one of our Friends of the Ministry, Evangelist Mira Hilliard. We pray for the comfort of his family. We know he is well loved and praise the Lord that he was a dedicated man of God. A Word from the Pastor... THE JOY OF THE LORD
"…For this day is holy unto our lord: neither be ye sorry; for the JOY of the Lord is YOUR strength." ~Nehemiah 8:10
The Sunday message was on "The Processing Season,"
how God has to take you through change to get you to your blessing. I remember as a young child, as I was going through foster home after foster home, praying to God for a real family…a real mom and dad that would love me and take care of me. Little did I know that I was going through a process at that young age.
God wants to give you the good things of your heart
and that's why he says in His Word in Luke 11:9, "Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Not only did God bless me with a Mother and father of my own, but he blessed me with 17 brothers and sisters who I still receive blessing from today! Through my children, nieces and nephews, who are growing leaps and bounds and also making me a great uncle now, God is still pouring out a blessing from that prayer that I prayed as a child.
God is true to His Word if we just do what He set forth in it. In Matthew 6:33, he tells us to "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His, righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you." In this Holiday season please remember: Seek:
First the kingdom of God and what this holiday season is all about,
the birth of our Savior!Righteousness: With all the spirit that is spread during this holiday season, let's keep in contact with the
right sprit…the Holy Spirit! Joy: With keeping in line with God's Word, let the joy of the Lord be your strength through this holiday season. I pray that you enjoy the birth of Christ
, for this is the true reason for THIS season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!May God Richly Bless You and Yours Always, Pastor Cory P. Pariseau Crossroads World Christian Center Church
