Hello friends of the Ministry! It's a privilege and an honor to be writing you this beautiful day in April.
As the saying goes, 'April showers brings May flowers,' and what a blessing this month is for us Christians as we get ready to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We ask for your continuous prayer and support of this Ministry as we touch the lives of people who are trying to find their way on those dark and lonesome roads. We'd like to thank all who have kept us in
prayer and who've donated to help support our efforts. We humbly ask in prayer that the Lord continue to make it possible for you to do so. When you get the time, please visit the Building Fund
web page to see the properties we've been praying over. We have a 3-5 year goal in mind and are actually working now to possibly get into a great property much sooner than that if possible, as God has really been opening doors for us! Please pray over our 'Pennies from Heaven' suggestion on that page, and if the Lord guides you to do so,
please consider helping. No matter the amount, whatever you can give towards
this goal is helping to further God's plan for this Church. We ask for your prayers and support to complete the vision! We are also going to partner up with Shop for Charities this month. It is an
online Shopping Mall that non-profit organizations can tap into where anything that you buy will give a considerable percentage of the profits to Crossroads World Christian Center Church. Please check the 'Help Support
Us' page on the site by mid-month, as we are working on getting this additional way for you to support the ministry set up now. April Announcements -April 12, 2006 8:30 a.m.

next few months is to focus on making the right contacts to reinforce our networking efforts with some other prominent community based organizations in the Central Ohio area. I have also received news that I
am to be the proud recipient of the 2006 CAVA Award, a great honor given by Franklin County Children's Services, which will also gain exposure for the Church and help us to work towards our networking goals. I thank God
for these blessings!!! He has truly shown favor to me and to this Ministry...it never ceases to amaze me! If you'd like for me to come speak to your church or group, I'd be delighted!

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. ~Colossians 4:2In the Bible it tells us what Jesus did and the actions He took before making that excruciating journey to the cross. The night before, He sat in the garden and prayed. God's Word says
that He prayed so hard that He started sweating blood! It goes on to say that God sent angels to encourage Him. And do you know what He did after the angels came? He prayed some more! I am so encouraged by
that story of our Lord and Savoir! He knew that He was on the heels of death, and instead of losing it, He chose to pray…and then gave thanks for the comfort he received in that hour of need in order to carry on
with the Masters Plan! This Easter as we contemplate the sacrifice of our precious Savoir, we need to take His awesome example and apply it to our own lives, so that we can meet life's challenges head on
with grace and humility through His strength, support and encouragement and show our thanks for His awesome gift to us of everlasting life! Please take the time to read the entire accounting of the amazing preparation
and sacrifice of our Lord here.
Jesus gave us the ultimate example of why prayer is so very necessary in our lives! On a personal level, I can really relate. As a young boy in foster care, I remember having a bad episode. I don't
know what it was that woke me, but I woke up one night and I could not move. I couldn't breathe and I could not call out for help, even though I tried. I was paralyzed in my bed for what seemed like such a long
time! Finally, I asked God in my head to help me, and next thing you know, I could move my toes, and then my feet, then my legs and then finally, I could breathe again. I got up and turned on the light still
very scared from the whole thing. I got on my knees and started to pray to God, thanking Him for helping me. I made God a promise that night that I would pray to him every night of my
life. Now throughout my (old) life, I have broken a lot of promises…sad to say. However, this one promise that I made to God, made at only 5 years old, I keep to this day and in fact, I have passed it on to
my children to observe. Crossroads World Christian Center started out first as a Prayer Ministry. Prayer is such a vital part of this Church…we've seen so many great things of God through our Prayer
Ministry and we are so thankful for it! Please remember that prayer is your quiet time to lay your troubles at the Lord's feet and to gain the strength, encouragement and power you need to get through life's
challenges and even the good times! Neglecting prayer deprives us of vital spiritual nutrients (so to speak), so it's so important that we make prayer a consistent part of our everyday lives.
If you need prayer, please visit our website and click on CrossPrayer from the Ministries page
and we will come into agreement with you in prayer in order to help lift you up in support and the love of Christ, so that you may overcome whatever challenges that life and Satan may be throwing your way.
Please remember that God is always here for you if you only reach out to Him! Again, I tell you that
if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. ~Matthew 18:19-20
