The summer break is over, so we'll be starting our Sunday evening services back up soon. Please check the events page for updates as they become available over the next week or two. We're excited to see you!
Our special reading this month focuses on the joy waiting for us in using our God given talents in service to Him. In the
Parable of the Talents
the word "talent" refers to money. It's interesting (but not surprising) that over time, the word "talent" has graduated into describing natural ability. God,
in His infinite wisdom, gives all of us talents as understood by today's commonly used meaning. When read with this definition in mind, this parable
speaks a powerful lesson to us about our responsibility to use our talents without fear. Are you using the talents and gifts God so graciously gave you, or are you
hiding it in the ground as the fearful servat does in the parable? Today can be full of His joy if you'll have faith and follow through. Scripture
"His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
~Matthew 25:21 (NIV)

providing clothing and donations of other gently used household goods and to needy central Ohio families. Donations of these things are needed and welcomed! If you can give, please contact the church to arrange a pickup or dropoff time. Please join us in prayer for this new endeavor as we expand our outreach. |
