A START OF SOMETHING NEW At this new Church of the Body of Christ, Crossroads
World Christian Center Church, we are here to start something new in people's lives! Our opening service on July 24th
was a true blessing! The positive feedback, prayers and support we've received over this past week since the service are showing us daily that we were truly graced with The Spirit of the Lord, His presence moving from heart to heart touching lives, leaving a mark on hearts and souls that cannot be erased! Thank you to all who volunteered and attended!
Our Battle Cry this year is Isaiah 43:19 and it says;
BEHOLD; I WILL DO A NEW THING; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the
desert. We are here to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people who need it the most; those who are unchurched and those who have fallen away from church.
Those who are hurting, confused, in pain and anguished. Those who are at a crossroads in their lives and don't know which way to turn. Those who are broken hearted, as well as those who are just broken. This world that we live in today brings us these things faster and younger than ever before. We are discounted to the one that made us therefore we are wandering around confused, broken, and desolated.
Crossroads World Christian Center Church sees that there is a generational gap in the young people who are not being introduced to the church or who don't know our lord Jesus Christ. They don't know, so
their hearts grow colder at a younger age. They're being introduced to drugs, sex and violence and to an early grave. Many other people are falling away from the church for different reasons, but a
disturbing amount are falling away because of the way they were treated at the door or inside the church in the past…they felt they were seeing the same things as the world does out side the church. People feel
judged, or not good enough to fit in the "clicks" formed in many churches. We are working hard to reach out to people in a non-judgmental way, as is the Ministry of Soul 2 Soul, a group that is helping people overcome whatever barriers lie between God and them! Crossroads WCC
is also working hard at bringing down the barriers people have experienced in the past, and we are so blessed to be able to guide you to this wonderful resource of outreach in the name of Jesus Christ.
This is our cry: let's start from the beginning! Let's start something new! For God said he shall spring forth…shall we not know it? When we start from the beginning and ask the Lord to come into our lives, He will
show up right then and there and move to make things we could never imagine begin to happen. He will come into our dry place, our deserts when we feel lost and dried up of all hope and love…He will come like a river of
water and give us to drink of the River of Life and we will not thirst. Where we are hurt and confused and discounted, He will make a way in the wilderness. He will show us the way on our road of Life…IF we
will just start from the beginning! If we start something new in our self and within our Church, He will bring new life inside and use you as a channel to bring His light to others.
We need Volunteers in ALL areas and EVERY position in Ministry. God gave you a gift to share with others...even if you don't believe you're gifted, let us help you figure out what yours is so you can share it with others!
We are in the process of
setting up the CrossWORDS Bible studies, and also of arranging the next Sunday service, which should be taking place at the beginning of September. Please make sure and check the site over the next weeks ( www.CrossRoadsWCC.org), as the plans will be announced there as soon as they
are complete. We're looking forward to the blessings of more fellowship and praise with you in Jesus' name at the next service!May God Richly Bless You and Yours,
